Our Management Team
Jennifer Russell, Managing Director of YourPlace, the factoring subsidiary of Glasgow Housing Association.
Jennifer was recently appointed a Director in the Property Managers Association Scotland.
Before joining YourPlace in 2004, she worked as a Consultant delivering tailored organisational, policy and training solutions to registered social landlords throughout Scotland.
Jennifer has a track record in social housing with experience in Local Housing Organisation registration and governance, planning and development, stock transfer, tenant participation & tenant management co-operatives, house sales (Right to Buy scheme) and home loans.
Jennifer has a Post Graduate degree in Management & Training and recently completed her MBA.
Martin Ogilvie, Executive Finance Manager joined YourPlace in Dec 2007. Following qualification as a Chartered Accountant with one of the top 5 accountancy firms, he has gained over 30 years experience in senior financial management roles working in both the private and voluntary sector. This has included engineering, economic regeneration, house building, commercial and residential property letting and mobile technology software.
Martin is responsible for the management and reporting of financial information, management of the customer database and input to the Business Plans and strategy to support the delivery of YourPlace’s company objectives.
Alison McDiarmid, Business Operations Manager joined YourPlace in August 2005. With a background in customer relations management within the communications industry, she was responsible for the delivery of the high standards of customer service demanded by the industry regulator.
Alison is responsible for the operational management of YourPlace, with particular concern for improvement in customer service - to ensure the successful delivery of future company objectives on behalf of our customers
June Milne, Business Improvement Executive has worked in the Property Management area for 10 years; she also has extensive experience within the social housing arena particularly with Local Housing Associations particularly in Finance (Housing Benefits) and Housing Management.
June's role in YourPlace is involved in continually improving our factoring service to our customers through reviewing our systems, staff and processes and liaising with contractors.
She also initiates and delivers projects which enhance value for money for YourPlace customers.
June has an MBA and is a accredited practitioner in Prince2 project management systems
Susan Thomson, Communications & PR Executive joined in 2009 from CIGNA Healthcare, an employee benefits provider.
She is an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in marketing and public relations, delivering a wide variety of internal and external communications through a range of media and campaigns.
Susan is responsible for all communications with our customers and key stakeholders and has recently implemented the launch of our new name and new look.
Moira Devlin, New Business Executive returned to YourPlace in 2009 after progressing her career within the housing sector.
She has a wealth of experience in social housing and recognises the importance of maintaining and sustaining good housing communities.
Moira is responsible for sales and marketing with new and existing customers, and maximising benefits for owners from services purchased.
Moira also initiates and delivers projects that enhance value for money for YourPlace customers.
Susan Gunn, Executive Officer, joined YourPlace in August 2005 and has a background in Education.
Susan’s current role in YourPlace is involved in supporting YourPlace Board activity and is responsible for compliance with professional, regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements.
Susan is currently working towards achieving her Masters degree in Human Resource Management.
