Staff at Glasgow Housing Association’s factoring arm have achieved a prestigious business improvement award for the second time.
YourPlace Property Management (the trading name of GHA (Management) Ltd), one of Scotland’s largest property managers, has gained re-accreditation to Investors in People (IiP).
The 40 staff, who were assessed for IiP through a rigorous process, were praised by the assessors for their commitment to delivering customer satisfaction.
Investors in People is a national, externally assessed, quality standard that sets a benchmark for managing and developing people to help organisations improve their performance.
Jennifer Russell, Managing Director, said: “YourPlace, like the rest of GHA, is totally focused on constantly improving the services we deliver to our customers. I am delighted the staff have gained this re-accreditation which recognises the work all of them are doing on a daily basis to meet our aims. Having sufficiently skilled staff ultimately benefits our customers and the service they receive.”
Ruth Kelling, of Investors in People Scotland, said: “YourPlace''''s sharing of knowledge and experience and restructuring to maximise the talent was beyond standard.”
Ruth said staff were clear about “the organisation’s vision and objectives, with clarity and transparency about them.”
She said YourPlace staff ‘wouldn’t stop talking’ about everything they did to deliver customer satisfaction. It was clear to her that staff are confident they are making a difference and improving customer services.
YourPlace first gained IiP accreditation in 2007.
